Fun at the Dock....Everyones a Comedian!!!

I walked down the nature trail towards our dock, past the swamp area where we have seen gators, past the cove where the lone white heron stands and fishes for mullet and baitfish. I watched the seagulls & ospreys gracefully glide over the multi-colored sky and look for fish and thought.....how blessed I am. I hadn't even stepped on the dock when Sandy and Slinky were saying....Here come da Red Snatcher Mon!!! He can be anywhere, even at de end of da dock, but he will snatch your Redfish, Mon! Little Javier was there too, carving the meat of a nasty eel he had caught into bait strips for his hook with a fillet knife. His little brother was riding bikes on the nature trail with Kadi, a little girl who lives in a waterfront unit as well. Slinky started teasing him about his girlfriend. I said yes, that's what women do to you....make you forget about Important things like fishing. He ignored us, but later told us he had MANY girlfriends in his elementary school. Slinky started singing to the fish in his Caribbean accent, but great voice. After all Valentines Day was coming up soon. Slinky Sang....

My lady friend, Kathy, asked Slinky.."Do you talk to your wife like that?" LOL...Comedy Central!
